So I was browsing facebook, and saw this engagement ring on sale. I started thinking, why is this guy selling his ring?

Could it be that they just found out they were incompatible? Maybe they had different religious views? Maybe the spark died out?

Or maybe the guy spent $600 on the fugliest engagement ring on earth?

Mid-February, is the time of the year when people start to realize their new year's weight-loss resolutions are failing and will soon be abandoned/forgotten.  Today’s lunch conversation with my girls was all about that.  Since I’m fortunate that high metabolism runs in my family, and any comments from me would almost always sound wrong; I normally would actively avoid that topic of conversation like the plague.  However, the girls didn’t leave me an escape route this time.

“Spill the beans, what's your secret for staying so slim?”

That happened to me for like 5 days in a row, couldn't figure out why.  At first I thought it was allergies...  well, it wasn't.

Mommy always knows best.  So I called her up for some quick fixes.  She said:

I BET YOU DRANK WATER BEFORE YOU WENT TO BED.

So on the 6th night, I didn't drink water.
